Talking About Airboats...Airboat World Magazine
JT went to the Annual Bar B Que for the Airboat Association Of Florida's Annual Bar-B-Que down in the Everglades.
While he was walking around and visiting with friends and family he took some pictures of the event.
JT ran across the Airboat World magazine a while back and has e-mailed the publisher and editor a few times about airboating. She had asked him to write an article and he hasn't gotten around to it yet.
He did send her the pictures of the Bar-B-Que down in the Everglades, and it ended up in a 3 page spread. Some one else wrote the article and contributed 2 pictures. The one on the 1st page of the article is a friend of ours dancing with a young lady. His name is Dale and he is one of the best Airboat mechanics you will ever come across.
They had Airboat Racing, Arts and Crafts, Gator Wrestling and some of the best food in Florida.
Look for next months edition of Airboat World magazine, JT should have pictures in it also, this time of Juniper Run which is just East of Ocala. Another great place for airboaters and swimmers alike.
