Political Forums

We are members of a local political forum. It was started by one of the guys from a local conservative politcal talk show. It has been quite an experience. We joined it before the last presidential election. JT was up on most of the things going on in politics and I listened to whatever he decided to fill me in on. He has been a talk show junkie for a number of years. Rush Limbaugh is one of his favorites. I think he has been listening to Rush since they started broadcasting in Florida.

As you can see we are conservatives. Most of the people who post there are also conservative. There is/was (in decline) a forum from a neighboring town where the posters are mainly liberal.
Seems someone from our forum went over and posted an invitation to join us. Which should have been a great idea. Problem is, the majority of the posters from the liberal forum seem to want to make nasty remarks and call names. There is very little debating going on.

In their way of posting, it seems if you agree with someone with the same views your part of the amen choir. If you oppose gay/lesbian relationships you are a bigot and are usually called a racist somewhere along the line. If you are against abortion you are anti choice...funny I always thought it was PRO LIFE...silly me...

Don't get me wrong, the conservatives dish out about as much as they get, but usually it is after they have had it up to here......... with the bull put out by the liberals....

Well I guess that's my rant for today...
